Re: Synchronizing directory hierarchies via SFTP

Unison will not work for the OP as it requires that it be installed on
both sides of the connection. The OP has sftp only access, not a full
 shell account.

If I remember correctly, Sylpheed-Claws (the successor of Sylpheed
which uses MH) has a plugin supporting MailDir. Pine and Alpine
probably support it was well, even though they are TUI MUAs.

Re: Webcams

Hi,

I am using some USB Video class webcams with NetBSD/amd64 current.
For example,
* iBUFFALO BSW13K08H
* Logitech C300

I have many pre-USB video class webcams,
however they require USB isochronous transfer support...

Re: Replace default SSH with pkgsrc version

Which is a great way to run into problems.  Even if you need to manually do so, if you're using ssh from pkgsrc I highly suggest removing the base ssh binaries.
I ran into issues like this before (with pkg_add, etc...) and it can lead to unexpected behavior when you inevitably end up running the wrong binary.

Re: maintenance and move for anoncvs.NetBSD.org Dec 8th 8:00 UTC ff

Does anything need to be updated to keep cvsweb.netbsd.org working?
Or is it just that anoncvs hasn't updated from cvs.netbsd.org yet after
the move?

That is, using cvsweb, I am not seeing changes that source-changes said
were committed many hours ago (more than 9).

Re: Replace default SSH with pkgsrc version

I once heard talk of "syspkgs" or something similar, to manage the updating of ssh, bind, etc. for just these kind of purposes. That was circa NBD 1.6 and it's been RSN ever since, as far as I can tell...
